David Bowen was raised in the rolling hills of Moscow, Idaho. A third generation dentist, Dr. Bowen chose to follow the footsteps of his grandfather, mother and older brother.
Early on he had the opportunity to join several dental service trips in Jamaica and in Malawi, Africa. It was on those trips that he was able to tangibly see the profound effect of dentistry on people’s lives.
Upon earning his degree in Business Administration from Walla Walla University, he was accepted into Loma Linda University school of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Bowen had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua and provide dental care the children in need. He also spent over 500 hours working in a volunteer clinic in Redlands, CA, and joined the Flying Doctors organization which provides care to people all over Southern California and into Mexico. Dr. Bowen Graduated in June 2016 earning the Alumni Associations award for Student of the year.
The name Bozeman Family Dentistry was chosen out of the desire to create an environment that feels like family. It is our desire to make you feel comfortable, heard and that your dental goals are met.
Dr. Bowen, his wife Ashley and their 3 children love this community, Ashley was raised in Montana and as a family they spent quality time in all of the outdoor activities that Bozeman has to offer, mountain biking, fly fishing, camping, trail riding and so many other community events that Bozeman provides. Dr. Bowen is excited to call Bozeman home and excited to serve this community.
